Job Summary
We are seeking a graphic designer to assist and support our team in the growth of our business. A designer that is full of curiosity, passion, and creative drive that is ready to be part of a collaborative team. On any given day, you may be required to tackle brand strategy, brochure and catalog layouts, digital and print ad campaigns, email design, social media, product launches, video conception, signage and graphics, and more. Your main responsibility is to provide creative graphic design and technical production support for our Marketing, Business Development, and Design teams to help promote our brand, enhance collateral and elevate client proposals. As the brand steward of the organization, your contribution to the process will provide potential and existing customers with great visual content that highlights and enhances the presentation of our product offering.
To excel in this role, you must have strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple projects with tight timelines and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills and be career-minded, seeking an opportunity to grow professionally while assisting in the overall growth of our company. You will meet regularly with respective marketing team members to discuss departmental goals, timelines and strategies to build a stronger marketing presence in the industry. Occasional travel and weekend work or extended hours may be needed to execute and attend company sponsored tradeshows and conferences.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Translating top level, large scale marketing concepts and initiatives into tangible deliverables.
• Appling designs and production layouts as required for print and digital (i.e.: email, web, and social media)
• Collaborating on print and digital campaign strategies
• Collaborating on and creating assets for social media and other digital channels
• Maintaining and developing content for organic social media accounts on a weekly basis
• Proper submission of all print and digital deliverables per advertising calendar requirements.
• The design and execution of collateral to build brand awareness, drive sales, and promote new product.
• Providing production support for collateral as needed by our Design and Business Development teams.
• Accurately representing finishes, materials and design details of all product collections
• Establishing standards for selecting new print vendors, and maintaining existing relationships
• Creating brand and/or lifestyle imagery for use in client presentations, print ads, catalogs, product development promotions, tradeshows, showroom displays, OPTO website, internal communications, emails and social channels
• Demonstrating proficiency in email and website layout best practices
• Develop strong product line knowledge to match customer need with appropriate marketing messaging.
Technical Skills/Experience
• B2B experience preferred (marketing modular product is a plus)
• 3+ years graphic design experience. (manufacturing experience a plus)
• Demonstrable experience producing designs for branding, brochures/catalogs, emails, websites, social media, trade advertising, product launches, internal communications, etc.
• Extensive experience managing traditional print and digital design projects
• Technically savvy - proficient in Adobe Creative Suite InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat. PC experience and Microsoft Office Suite is a must. AutoCAD is a plus, but not required,
• Knowledge of, or aptitude to learn, third-party design interfaces (Pardot or other email builder, website, social media, etc.)
• Working knowledge of all major social media platforms
• Photo/video direction skills
• Video editing a plus
• Digital asset management skills a must

Mental/physical requirements:
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the employee to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers. Some travel required.
