About DreamWorks Dedicated Unit

The DreamWorks Dedicated Unit (DDU) is a unit within Technicolor India, built exclusively for the DreamWorks Animation (DWA) client. DDU has an exclusive state of the art infrastructure which is built to DWA’s spec in Bangalore, Silicon Valley of Asia. This unit seamlessly integrates with the DWA’s other studios/campuses in California. The tools and technologies (production pipeline) used by DDU are proprietary to DWA. The quality benchmark for DDU is the quality of work being produced at the 2 other DWA studios/campuses in California. DDU is currently working on shows/projects based on the DWA franchise such as Madagascar & Shrek.

DDU is about 2.5 years old. It has witnessed rapid growth; it currently employs 200 people, has successfully delivered TV Specials such as Merry Madagascar and Scared Shrekless, is currently in production of Madly Madagascar (Valentine Special) and plans to add 50+ employees in the near future to ramp up for upcoming Feature Film projects.

While all employees of DDU are Technicolor India employees; they are governed and operate within the norms of the DWA culture. DDU employs a sizeable number of international artists coming from countries such as Australia, Belgium, France, Spain, Tunisia and USA.

DDU is currently hiring for senior / leadership positions such as Layout lead, Animation Supervisors, CG Supervisors, FX Leads, Matte Painting Lead and Supervising TD.

DDU is also hiring artists with 3+ years of Feature experience in Animation, Rough Layout (previz), Final Layout, Character FX, Lighting, Matte Painting, and FX departments.
