Founded with a team of just 30, Double Negative (Dneg) has grown to become one of the industry’s success stories and is now one of the world’s largest providers of visual effects for Film with facilities in London, Singapore and Vancouver.

Through our steady and constant growth the Company has always sought to retain both the creative drive and involvement of its artists through all projects and a close collaborative working relationship with clients. This approach ensures films both small and large receive the same high standard of creative and technical service. This has proved a winning combination resulting in awards recognition from the Visual Effects Society (for Inception, Sherlock Holmes and Interstellar), BAFTA (for Inception, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and Interstellar) and the Academy® Awards (for Inception and Interstellar)

Recent work includes Godzilla, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, Hercules, Interstellar, Ex Machina and Jupiter Ascending.

2013 saw the launch of Double Negative Films formed specifically to provide VFX support and investment to British-qualifying productions, its first film being Ron Howard’s critically acclaimed Rush.

In addition to our award-winning film work, our television division DNegTV is soon to celebrate its second birthday. This thriving division tailors our skills and pipeline to the specific needs of high end television drama – its most recent projects include the Ronald D Moore’s Outlander for Sony Pictures TV, Mr Selfridge for ITV (for which DNegTV were nominated for best VFX at the Royal Television Society Awards 2014) and Roald Dahl’s Esio Trot, Remember Me and Death in Paradise for the BBC.

Most recently, in early April last year, we announced the set up of our new Feature Animation Division, created to work with IP creators and filmmakers in the creation of high end animated features.
