Motion Reality, Inc. (MRI) is expanding after entering into an exclusive value-added reseller agreement with Raytheon Company in February, 2010. The agreement pairs Raytheon’s leading defense and government systems expertise with MRI’s globally breakthrough product, VIRTSIM, a recognized standard-seller in immersive virtual simulation.

To create VIRTSIM, MRI leverages its two decades of pioneering work in both motion pictures and video games. MRI’s licensed earlier motion capture technology has been used in motion pictures such as “Lord of the Rings,” “Polar Express,” “King Kong” and most recently “Avatar,” and has won an Academy Award® for technical achievement. MRI has performed additional legacy work in real-time 3-D engineering analysis, feedback and immersive simulation technologies used by the U.S. Army in Virtual Soldier Distributed Simulation and commercially proven worldwide in professional and consumer sports. In VIRTSIM, MRI introduces new technologies that provide the most realistic and immersive virtual training experience possible.
