Visual Effects Artist (Contractor)
Description
This is a contract position lasting 3-6 months.
• Deliver innovative visuals effects that respect the limitations of real-time game development.
• Create all artwork required for the FX such as modeling, skinning, animation or lighting.
• Recreate FX in a particle editor and have strong texturing skills.
• Create photo-realistic visual effects.
• Ability to establish priorities and multi-task efficiently within a high-pressure environment while meeting strict deadlines.
• Willingness to observe, absorb and modify own work based on many avenues of artistic criticism.
• Demonstrate technical skills such as scripting, shader creation.
• Facilitate further development of internal effects editing tools.
• Works with the Art Director and other leads to create high quality visual effects.
