Lensing Supervisor

Description

To supervise, delegate and participate in the creation of CGI lensing within the HF2 aesthetic. Meet technical and creative requirements set by Digital DOP / Co-Director and Lighting DOP / Supervisor. Forecast, communicate and troubleshoot any arising issues pertaining to Lensing output and pipelines.

• Supervise a team of Lensing / Layout artists in creation of lensing scenes utilizing mocap, animation, temp lighting and FX.
• Help maintain consistency and quality of the camera work within the HF2 aesthetic whilst maintaining continuity within edit structure.
• Participate in the development of the lensing tool set
• Continue the design, maintenance and streamlining of the Lensing Pipelines to reflect the needs of the production
• Oversee creative skill-set development of Lensing crew
• Develop and maintain portions of the lensing aesthetic bible
• Work with the Motion Edit, Animation and Lighting/FX Department to ensure the successful handoff and execution of lensing cameras and offsets for their use
• Bidding and casting of lensing tasks
• Give regular updates and reports to the Co-Director / Digital DOP and Production Manager (Story)
• Timely and clear communication of any problems to the Co-Director / Digital DOP and relevant department HODs
• Liase and assist with creative and technical development on other Dr D projects as required
