Title of the position: Digital Trainer

Department: Training & Artist Development

Reports to Director of Training

Overall Responsibility
The Digital Trainer provides development and delivery of facility based
training to all departments of digital production.

Digital Trainer Responsibilities

· Provides hands-on classroom presentations of digital effects and
animation production tools, procedures, and software applications for large
and small groups of artists, animators and developers.
· Trains new hires, rehires, artists transitioning from show to show
and provides cross training needs. Requires ability to teach all areas of
the core pipeline.
· Teaches character animation, rotomation, tracking layout, body and
facial rigging and other areas of the pipeline.
· Evaluates and revises effectiveness of various sections the
curriculum.
· Maintains working knowledge of our most current 3rd party and
proprietary software tools and techniques and updates supporting materials.
· Works with the Director of Training, training staff and various
subject matter experts to provide current curriculum and supporting
materials for facility and show standards and best practices.
· Develops appropriate training shots and online materials and videos.
