Web Developer/Designer

Description

SUMMARY
Responsible for producing feature-rich, consumer web sites and Flash-based interactive projects, ranging from rich media banners, HTML e-mails, and dynamic-content driven Web sites utilizing actionscript and xml. The Web Developer will remain involved in the design process throughout all phases of the project including attending project meetings, and gathering relevant information for site design. Interprets functional specification documents as well as written scripts to develop effective interface design and interactive ideas that meet or exceed expectations. Responsible for fixing bugs, updating content, troubleshooting technical problems, and new content development, including games and activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conceptualizes and designs high-end web and multimedia projects.
• Develops new web and multimedia content.
• Provides design direction necessary to successfully meet and exceed established design tenets.
• Assesses client needs and presents design ideas effectively.
• Executes complex and dynamic web production tasks.
• Interprets functional specification documents and written scripts to develop designs.
• Troubleshoots technical problems, fixes bugs, and updates content.
• Assists in proposal estimates, and project management interacting with the client and the design team.
