Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Work closely with the lead Character artist and Character Designer to maintain and create the high quality character assets for the game. Assists leads in helping define process and pipelines along with aesthetic goals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Using industry standard 3D packages as well as proprietary Monolith tools, creates art assets for their assigned development project. These assets could include any skeletal models, along with weapons and vehicles.
• Assists in R&D efforts for tools enhancements and prototyping of new technology.
• Mentors more junior members of the animation team and serves as a repository of special knowledge for the group.
• Participates in departmental meetings to share personal ideas and define the look and feel of areas and characters.
