Job Summary
Contribute to software design, development, and long term strategy. Write and test code. Create documentation on new features. Assist in new hire selection and training. Maintain currency in field knowledge. Accountable for the timely completion and high quality of all assigned tasks.

Job Functions
• Engineer new code, enhance existing code, and assist in the development of coding standards, processes, and techniques.
• Work with engineering lead to review software implementation plans and develop long-term strategies.
• Develop designs for assigned tasks based upon the architecture, specifications, and requirements provided by the engineering lead.
• Verify that completed code performs as expected and is fully implemented.
• Create and update documentation related to new features, interfaces, and usage.
• Submit project reports to the lead engineer as required.
• Provide feedback on applicant selection and assist in the training of new hires.
• Maintain currency in field knowledge through reading and training.
