Position Overview:

Overall the position of Systems Administrator is to provide administration, analysis, design and functions for systems to address the needs and requirements of staff and users.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administration, analysis, design and functions for systems to address the needs and requirements of staff and users.
• Monitor systems performance.
• Serve as liaison to vendors for server systems for maintenance, problem resolution and upgrades of installed hardware and system applications.
• Make authorized changes to system software, which correct inconsistencies and malfunctions and improve function as necessary.
• Responds to client inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnoses system hardware, software, and operator problems.
• Research, development and implementation of new software applications and hardware solutions.
• Provide team-leadership and mentoring to junior members of staff.
• Perform other related duties as may be required.
