Lead Programmer
Description
The Lead Programmer will lead in the technical approach to all Ubisoft Nagoya developed project, and will continually assess quality and schedule risks within the project and find appropriate solutions.
Responsibilities:
•Create, implement, and maintain the schedule of programming tasks for a project
•Continually assess and mitigate risk in the project
•Establish processes, standards and guidelines to improve code quality and reduce maintenance costs
•If required, is able to take over a variety of programming areas as needed to get the project(s) completed
•Manage and grow the current programming team, which currently has staff in both Nagoya and Osaka
•Establish clear, project-specific roles for all team members; Allocate and convey tasks as well as expectations to team members
•Provide team members with any needed support such as direction, guidance and assistance; Supervise and stimulate team members to verify the team’s progress and quality
•Initiate and participate in the knowledge sharing, problem solving, and technology research at Ubisoft Nagoya and in the global Ubisoft studio network
•Build a strong working environment within the programming team as well as the entire studio
