Technical Artist

Description

The Technical Artist’s responsibility is to design and implement artist friendly workflows. A combination of strong creative aesthetic and technical knowledge are pre-requisite regardless of background. Technical Artists should be an expert in at least one of these areas – animation, visual effects, post-processing, environments/lighting, or model/texture pipeline.

Responsibilities:
• Design, improve and implement artist workflows
• Document and teach needed art production techniques
• Champion simple workflows
• Mentor others
