KAUST has recently partnered with the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) to build and conduct joint research on the world’s most advanced visualization laboratory known as Cornea. Cornea will host the world’s highest resolution and brightest VL6 Virtual Environment featuring a 100 million pixel system that will provide pure 20/20 visual acuity in a fully three-dimensional environment for KAUST researchers, students, and partners.

Job Description: As part of a team design, implement, and produce visualization content and software using commodity in-house tools to provide solutions for researchers and scientists. Produce a variety of digital content models for animations, and interactive environments to present and explain scientific results to a variety of audiences.

Job Duties:
• Generate visualization and graphics software solutions utilizing commodity software and develop in-house software to provide solutions for researchers and scientists.
• Produce a variety of digital content in modeling, animations, and interactive environments to present and explain significant scientific researcher results to a variety of audiences.
• Install, modify, extend, and optimize visualization and graphics software on vis lab systems.
• Extend visualization and graphics software for use on tiled displays.
• Create two and three dimensional models for a interactive and animation content.
