Job Purpose:
To provide coordination with and direction to internal and external developers on serious games and interactive entertainment products from initial design through code release by managing projects to schedule and budget.

Major Responsibilities:

Responsible for management of internal and external projects to a defined budget and schedule in order to ensure their success.

Responsible for directing the development efforts on multiple software products from concept to final product release and for providing or maintaining the “creative vision” of these products.

Understand, refine, maintain and disseminate the product vision for all assigned projects.

Identify and resolve conflicts between schedule, budget and design goals.

Must proactively track and maintain the master development schedule daily, identifying and fixing interdependencies early before they become problematic.

Perform Project management administrative functions – establish/maintain project procedures, facilitate status meetings, produce status reports and distribute project documentation and schedules.

Provide developers with material and technical support as needed.

Identify, contract and direct individuals or organizations outside the project in the creation of assets such as independent contractors, talent, music, sound, voice and video. production.

Manage external developers and contractors to contractual requirements.

Coordinate development efforts with QA, Marketing, Public Relations, Sales, International and legal to achieve consistency and quality and to facilitate the timely and effective delivery of materials required for publication.

Foster positive working relationship and teamwork within the development teams with an emphasis on communication. Drive communication among all team members.

Manage production timesheet system in accordance with DCAA standards.
