Assistant Technical Director

Description

The Assistant Technical Director provides technical support to Digital Artists to complete lighting, rendering and compositing in an efficient and aesthetic manner.

* Responsible for learning the Animation production pipeline so as to assist Digital Artists in the efficient progression of shots through the production pipeline.
* Responsible for quality checking, assuring asset integrity and functionality, and setting-up of shots.
* When required, may run turntables and assist with other aspects of the artistic components of the production pipeline.
* Responsible for working closely with the Software Engineering group in providing feedback about the functionality of pipeline/applications issues that arise in shot production.
* Additional technical and/or administrative projects as may be assigned.
