AiLive (www.AiLive.net) is looking for an Art Director to help create an innovative new console game and lead the company towards content creation.

AiLive is a California-based company best known for its motion control products on the Wii. AiLive has spent years perfecting a one-of-a-kind machine learning technology for behavior capture, which will drive entirely new forms of gameplay. Earlier this year, the lead designer of Guitar Hero and Rock Band joined AiLive as Creative Director. The Art Director will join as another key member of a growing, world-class team that is determined to exploit their unique strengths to create amazing new games.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to get in at the beginning of a new game studio. AiLive wants an experienced, talented and flexible Art Director who relishes novel challenges, who is independently motivated, leads by example, and is excited to collaborate with a pioneering design and engineering team.

The job entails:

• Developing a unique and cohesive style for the game.
• Creating art assets for the game prototype.
• Determining art resources required for the game.
• Building an art team and guiding their output.
• Identifying and managing art outsourcing requirements.
• Making art tool purchasing decisions and crafting an efficient art pipeline.
• Providing artistic direction for all studio output.
