ART DIRECTOR

Description

Superior communication skills and a proven ability to understand, motivate and inspire an art team are mandatory. We need a keen eye for detail wrapped around an ability to assume ownership over the look and feel of a product and make decisions independently. We want excellence and innovation to show in every aspect of our products!

Responsibilities
- Collaborating with a Producer to create milestone schedules and assign artists to appropriate task areas.
- Creating and maintaining style guides and visualization documents.
- Managing individual tasks for each member of the art team and coaching them towards a comprehensive vision.
- Providing input on the practicality of design goals in relation to art production.
Assisting in conceptualizing new products.
Assisting in the design of product packaging, marketing materials and advertising.
Assisting in providing creative direction to contractors producing music, sound effects, FMV, etc.
- Recommending improvements to tools and processes that will improve art quality, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve the overall quality and usability of our proprietary engine and tools.
Assisting in hiring and employee reviews.
