Principle Engineer - Studio Application Infrastruc

Description

Principle Software Engineer to help design and build the infrastructure- level framework to support out next generation core animation tools. This individual will interface with technical leads on our animation tools projects. This individual will ne responsible for developing new and enhancing existing functionalities for studio software applications, determining functional requirements and writing functional design specifications, and related documentation. This individual will provide technical leadership to the project leads, enduring tool implementations is done per approved architectures. This individual will advocate usage of industry standards, research and incorporate latest technology standards, where applicable, into architectural design.

Qualifications:
*MS in Computer Science or related field
*10+ years experience in object oriented software design and implementation
*Expertise in C/C++, knowledge of Linux, Oracle, and QT a plus
*Knowledge and implementation experience in software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
*Experience designing and implementing high performance computing, highly multi-thread and data intensive distributed systems.
*Excellent problem solving and verbal and written communication skills.
