Marketing Intern

Description

Energetic self-starter needed to assist with the marketing and community relations for a dynamic youth development agency in Orlando. This person works with The Director of Marketing & Communications as well as the Development Department to raise awareness of and support for Boys & Girls Clubs programs in 44 locations. Create, plan, follow-up on details and arrangements for special events, graphics and collateral materials under the direction of the Director of Marketing. Assists in ensuring continuity with corporate development strategy, marketing strategy, and event execution.

KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):
1. Research and write stories for newsletter, e-mail blasts and special event materials.
2. Act as a liaison between Club staff and volunteer groups working on special one-time service projects.
3. Assist in writing and distributing letters, marketing materials, media advisories and press releases.
4. Participate in committee meetings, club tours and special events.
