Art Director

Description

Edge of Reality™ is currently looking for talented individuals with a passion for games to join our highly creative art department. ALL candidates must have a well-developed raw artistic talent, a traditional art background, and a shown proficiency with 3D-computer graphics development using any one of, or combination of, the following packages: Photoshop, Painter, Deep Paint3D, And at least ONE 3D graphics Package (Maya preferred).

As the Studio Art Director you will:
•Work closely with the management and other departmental directors to define and ensure the artistic and technical goals for the studio.
•Oversee the work of the art teams on an on going basis, effectively communicating art direction to the Project Art Director and delivering constructive feedback about work in progress.
•Manage the recruiting, hiring, mentoring and performance reviews of artists.
•Effectively solve technical problems related to art creation and implementation into the game engine.
•Maintain the art component of the company website
•Represent the studio’s art vision to current and potential clients
•Art direct pitch documents and supporting material
