ImageMovers Digital is a new motion picture studio in Marin County devoted to the performance capture films of Academy Award-winning director/producer Robert Zemeckis. Established in 2006, we currently employ over 250 employees and continue to search for talented individuals to join our company. We are currently in production on the new performance capture feature “A Christmas Carol” starring Jim Carrey as Scrooge and the three ghosts.

RealTime Architect

The RealTime Architect is responsible for designing and implementing a RealTime architecture from existing technologies within the company. This position requires excellent design skills, clear thinking, and pragmatic approaches to designing large software.


Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing a distributed real-time system.
• Designing and implementing APIs, libraries, user interfaces and data parsing/conversion utilities.
• Synchronize disparate data sources arriving over the network. Must be able to handle latency issues, including handling and recovering from failure cases.
• Serve as a RealTime knowledge base.
• Serve as a team member of a small group of dedicated researchers that has been formed specifically for RealTime and will be required to liaise with various departments to resolve any issues associated with the project.
