Casual Games Manager

Description

Midway Home Entertainment, Inc. is a leading developer, publisher, and marketer of interactive entertainment software. We currently have an opening for a Casual Games Manager in our San Diego studio.

The Casual Games Manager will be responsible for identifying new opportunities in the casual and family video game category and will work closely with all key departments (marketing, product development and executive management) to research and present new opportunities for creating casual game franchises.


Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Researching and identifying new opportunities for casual games (upcoming trends and potential licenses).
• Analyze competitive products and emerging trends to identify new opportunities for development and publishing.
• Prepare presentations and recommendations on proposed titles to management.

Secondary Responsibilities Include:

• Interface with sales and marketing departments regarding casual game initiatives.
• Interface with business development and legal regarding license and development agreements.
• Analysis of market trends.
• Closely work with the head of the casual games business unit in identifying new opportunities.
