Sony PlayStation: Animation System Programmer
San Diego, California
Responsibilities:
• The Animation/Motion System Programmer for the MLB Studio in San Diego will work on an existing code base associated with an existing, successful sports title for next generation PlayStation.
• Programmer will answer directly to Animation/Motion System Lead Programmer.
• Responsibilities will be assigned on an as-needed basis, and will include such things as off-line Microsoft Windows based tools for animation content creation and manipulation, Kaydara MotionBuilder exporter and plug-in work, in-game animation technology enhancements and support, and R&D into next-gen animation techniques.
• New Animation System Programmer will not be expected to build an entirely new animation system, but rather to enhance and add to an existing system as part of a collaborative effort with the Animation/Motion System Lead Programmer and the Animation/Motion System group.
