Technical Director

Description

Corgan MediaLab seeks an experienced Technical Director to join our growing studio.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Responsible for any general technical 3D tasks required. A broad knowledge that covers as many areas of 3d as possible, or at a minimum, the basics (i.e. modeling, texturing, animation, lighting and rendering).

Requirements:

- 3+ Years experience in MaxScript, C/C++, C#, MEL, or other programming languages
- Strong technical knowledge of 3DS max, Maya or other high end software (3DS max preferred)
- Strong knowledge of character rigging preferred
- Strong knowledge of dynamic effects, cloth simulations, particle systems, and similar preferred
- Excellent technical problem solving skills
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience on feature films, TV, games
- Familiarity with pipeline issues and a typical post production environment
- BS degree in Computer Science. MS preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to take direction and pay close attention to detail
- Willingness to work in a team environment or individually on projects. Must have a positive attitude.
