Lighting Supervisor

Description

Starz Animation, Toronto, one of Canada’s largest 3D Animation Studios, is currently in pre-production on Miramax Film’s major animated movie, “Gnomeo and Juliet”. Directed by Kelly Asbury and with music and lyrics by legendary songwriting team ELTON JOHN & BERNIE TAUPIN, this animated feature will be released in 2011.

We’re looking for a Lighting Supervisor to oversee the creative and technical processes as related to CG lighting of the final shots under the direction of the film’s leadership.

Job Duties and required experience:
•Understand and work with Art Director and VFX Supervisor to create the aesthetic ‘look’ of the film.
•Work with Department Manager to help create schedules and staffing models
•Work with VFX Supervisor and Technical Supervisor to design efficient workflows and build upon and enhance existing lighting pipeline.
