Job Description and Responsibilities:
The Producer role within Apple's MarCom Graphic Design group provides leadership for the creative development and implementation of marketing materials that are produced by the Graphic Design Group. This includes, but is not limited to; collateral pieces, point of purchase promotions, and product signage. As well, unique deliverables may be developed to support specific seasonal initiatives or special venues.

Position is responsible for overseeing creative development of materials from inception to completion, including helping the creative team understand the objectives, target, messages, and desired outcome. Requires a strong ability to facilitate the development of marketing messages and ensure they are appropriately reflected within the communications for all store layouts.

The position works cross-functionally with other internal groups at Apple to create solid communications plans and ensure creative objectives are well defined and appropriately executed to achieve desired results. The position oversees projects and ensures they are produced on strategy, on time and within budget. Day to day responsibilities include maintaining all work flow, presentations, approval processes, schedules and budget management procedures to create a smooth workflow for the cross-functional teams involved. The position works closely with other teams within the Graphic Design group, including Creative, Production, and Studio to produce all deliverables.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have prior marketing communications experience excellent communication skills, demonstrated project and budget management skills as well as a solid understanding of the creative development process. Strong leadership abilities are required, as this position informally leads cross-functional teams and requires marketing communication expertise at both a strategic and executional level. Limited working knowledge of the pre-press and print production process also beneficial. Architectural or 3-D experience a plus.


Requires BA/BS+ 6-8 years marketing communications experience. Ideal candidate will have previous retail marketing experience, and account management or project management experience at a design firm, ad agency, or in-house marketing communications or creative services department.
