Job Description and Responsibilities:
Autodesk is seeking a dynamic, energetic and technically competent senior product specialist to join its team of experts within the Media & Entertainment division’s Systems team. This exciting opportunity requires a detailed understanding of one of more of the following Autodesk Systems products - Flame, Flint, Inferno, Smoke, Lustre - as well as in-depth first-hand knowledge of the broadcast, film and post-production industries. Experience delivering training with either these products or related products would be a considerable advantage, as would additional language skills.
Requirements:
The position within the existing Application Engineer (AE) team covers the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and would be based in the London office, in the heart of Soho’s post-production industry.
The successful applicant will partner with the EMEA Territory Managers and authorised resellers to deliver training, product demos, assistance with product evaluations and to provide pre- and post-sales technical assistance. This role will involve working closely with the local marketing team, ensuring that messaging is clear and consistent whilst ensuring that feedback from the field is incorporated into local marketing and PR efforts, as fed back to the divisional Product Management team.
The successful candidate will be a diplomatic and inspirational communicator with a passion for building strong collaborative working relationships and helping others succeed.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
• Clearly and consistently communicate product features and benefits across all pre-sales situations.
• Act as trusted advisor to existing and potential customers, as well as our channel partners.
• Provide product demos in customer-facing events including tradeshows, product evaluations and demos.
• Provide customer consultation, support and product presentations at industry-specific tradeshows.
• Partner with Autodesk Authorised Resellers and provide support for reseller events.
• Work with Authorized Autodesk Reseller technical staff to ensure they are proficient across the Systems product range and equipped to demonstrate the products with consistent messaging.
• Contribution to industry-related user groups.
• Provides post-sales support on a limited basis to key accounts and ensure that issues from the field are fed back to marketing and product management.
