Senior Animation/ VFX Producer

Description

The Senior Producer on this production will be central to the success of delivering the project on time and to budget. They will be at the heart of a very exciting production, overseeing a team of up to 40 animators, TDs, compositors and production staff. The ability to appropriately delegate, lead, communicate and manage is essential. As well as internally managing the team they will also be liaising regularly with the client.
Essential responsibilities include:
* Plan, prepare and manage schedule both internally and externally with client.
* Plan, prepare, manage and negotiate the overall budget.
* Ensure the staffing fits within the overall budget, and maintain regular cost analysis.
* Work with the Project supervisor on staffing needs and assist in recruitment of project personnel.
* Manage relationship with client, developing an in-depth understanding of their needs
* Manage budget and schedule and ensure project is completed to the highest standard achievable within set budget.
* Manage weekly updates/status reports to both client and MD / Project supervisor
* Work with co-ordinators to ensure Daily meetings/viewing of work with team heads and when appropriate MD.
* Manage and oversee production management system to ensure artists are delivering to schedule and deal with any inconsistencies that arise in staffing.
* Schedule approval dates with project supervisor and ensuring that these dates are kept.
* Managing administrative production staff and delegating appropriate responsibilities.
