Job Summary

The Senior Vice President (SVP), as a member of the senior management team, contributes to the successful achievement of the organization’s mission and strategic initiatives by providing leadership, oversight, evaluation and direction for the operational performance of the Academy’s on-going domestic and international programs. These include the Interactive Achievement Awards, D.I.C.E. Summit, D.I.C.E. Summit Asia, Into the Pixel, Indie Game Challenge, Game Deconstruction Group as well as a number of conferences that the Academy is a partner.

The (SVP) will be responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the Academy’s line staff and managing the profit and loss of key programs. You will provide management oversight through quality, cost-effective and integrated programs. The SVP oversees and coordinates the management of an experienced internal team comprised of a VP of Sponsorship & Publicity, Event Director, Finance Director, and Director of Membership & Awards Production. This core team has an average of 3.5 years of experience within the Academy. The core team is augmented by three other internal staff positions. The SVP will also have oversight on all external partners that help fulfill the Academy’s programs. You will report to the CEO, implement strategic planning, manage the budget and achieve the company vision. We are an open and diverse environment where different points of view are encouraged.
