Sr. Manager, Customer Analytics
Description
Apple’s Customer Database Marketing team is searching for a senior analyst to lead its customer analytics and data mining efforts. This position is responsible for analyzing and understanding Apple’s sizable customer database to present to senior management and business partners meaningful insights derived through interpretation of complex analytics delivered by the team.
Responsibilities:
* Define approaches to best understand customer behavior and segmentation to inform the business.
* Identify analytics opportunities to that will shape the future of our business by explaining methodology to business users to attain buy-in, implementing analysis and delivering interpreted results.
* Manage a team of analysts who execute quick turn and long-lead analytics projects that provide insight into customer performance and business trends.
* Work with the business partners to define specific requirements for analysis of customer data.
* Work integrally with programs team conducting analysis from forecasting through back-end analysis.
* Develop models and tools for insightful program analysis, customer analysis and business forecasting.
* Develop statistically valid and methodologically sound approaches to business problems.
* Efficiently program queries and macros to execute the analysis.
* Publish and communicate results, ensuring timely and accurate reports are delivered to the teams.
* Guide the direct marketing team in testing scenarios and campaign opportunities.
* Work closely with programs and technology teams to provide views of data using internal tools.
* Coordinate with business users and the database team to ensure analytical projects are effectively delivered on time with proper detail and auditing.
* Work with IS&T and database marketing teams to define needs for analytics and tools.
* Support definition and maintenance of customer scoring including RFM, Customer LTV and engagement.
