3D Story Artist

Description

The Mid-level 3D Story Artist works with other artists under the CG Supervisor as part of a team to pre-visualize CG animated television episodes given direction from Supervising and Episodic Directors.

Under minimal supervision, use and occasionally create, digital assets including character and backgrounds to interpret a script as visualized by the Supervising and/or Episodic director.

Provide cinematic pre-visualization of Director's vision by completing layout of 3D animatic level sequences from start to finish using multiple elements based on scripts and input from Director(s).

Provides other concept artists with underlays and source art created in 3D.

Tracks shot progress through entire pre-visualization process. Archives all project files, renders, and source images.

Completes special projects as needed or requested.
