Senior Animator

Role
Animators are responsible for creating and delivering character animation, while meeting the creative and technical standards set forth by the animation director and lead animator. This position requires an understanding of physical motion, acting, and the fundamentals of animation.
Responsibilities
? Use 3D animation packages such as MotionBuilder, 3D Studio Max, and Maya and/or proprietary software to animate 3D characters and environmental objects.
? Work closely with the Animation Director and Lead Animator to develop animation assets that fulfill the requirements of the project’s game design and visual design—as documented by Specifications, Style Guides, and appropriate reference material.
? Understand the requirements and constraints of game design and motion mechanics.
? Proactively seek feedback in style, direction, and technique.

? Bring a creative and proactive attitude to the task of animating performances

? Deliver shots within schedules set forth by animation supervisors and leads

? Utilizes both hand and mo-cap animation techniques to create animation of primary and secondary characters

? Work with animation leads to solve creative and technical issues on assigned work
