Concept Artist - Online Gaming

SUMMARY:
The Artist will work with the Lead Artist to establish artistic vision. Provide creative and artistic direction for the visuals of a given title, and is an advocate for the art quality of the product. The Artist must create character and environmental concept sketches. They will also define the artistic vision for product websites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Works closely with the Lead Artist to develop concept artwork that defines the overall look and art style
• Digitally paints and composes game art.
• Learns/understands how game-play and architecture issues can affect content creation and successfully develops workflows to compensate for such limitations on artistic content.
• Participates in strategic planning for new content deployment.
• Reviews and evaluates competitive products
• Ensures the games art meets the target demographic.
• Works effectively within deadlines
