Character TD - Rig/Setup

Description

Work closely with the Character Supervisor and The Digital Supervisor to design, develop and implement multiple character rigs. These will include (but are not limited to) mocap, animation and deformation rigs for various penguins, whales, seals, and birds. The Character TD will also have input into the design and streamlining of the Character/Animation Pipeline.

The Character TD will be responsible for the developing, and contributing to, the support, and upkeep of all rigs as they move through the animation pipeline, as well as support to animators and animation dept in terms of developing tools and procedures to optimize animation workflow.

The Character TD will report directly to the Character Supervisor, as well as contributing to time-estimations of work, and will be responsible for ensuring ontime delivery of various rigging requirements, and alerting the character Sup as to any scheduling difficulties or conflicts.
