Sr. Programmer

Description

Act as a trainer, a mentor and help establish the technical direction for the studio's projects.

As a trainer, plan training session that covers various basic, intermediate and advanced topics and create the necessary material to present this information to junior programmers.

As a mentor, identify weaknesses of junior programmers and follow up on them on various problems they may face in their daily work. Identify best practices and provide advices to these programmers.

Finally, assist various projects by offering technical direction.
•Prepare training session on various topics of game programming
•Present training session to a group of junior programmers
•Mentor junior programmers in their daily work
•Provide technical direction on various projects
•Assess junior programmers performance
•Validate junior programmers tasks
•Conduct weekly meetings
•Supervise programmers’ process: requirement analysis, technical design, coding, debugging and documentation.
•Perform code review on junior programmers’ code
•Research best practices on the game making process and enforce them to the studio
