Flash Game Programmer

Description

Flash Game Engineer responsible for creating an online card collecting game based on Nerd Corps Entertainment’s original IP (to be launched in 2009). The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years experience in the game industry working as a programmer, and at least 1 year using ActionScript.

• Developing Flash games using ActionScript and related tools.
• Building the entire game – user interface to gameplay logic.
• Optimizing the performance of the games.
• Creating and maintaining utilities for use in development.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Integrating 3rd party solutions within the game (Multiplayer components iE SmartFoxServer)
• Working closely with the production, design, art and QA teams to meet completion deadlines for each project.
• Integrating change requests and playtesting feedback.
