Summary of Position

The marketing technical director will support Pixar's Creative Services Department by producing film related marketing imagery in partnership with the production, marketing, publicity and consumer products division.

Responsibilities

- Create and fine-tune lighting, perform camera layout work and render high-resolution images for print, web, advertising, promotions and other corporate marketing initiatives.
- Using multiple production tools perform technical work in support of complex lighting, camera layout work and rendering.
- Render complex still frame film images using proprietary program, as well as retouch them in Photoshop.
- For other image work, retouch and paint using Photoshop and composite images using the Shake program.
- Present image work in reviews with production leads and directors.
- Deliver final images for feature films often prior to the completion of the production.
