Description

Zynga is the top developer of online games for social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace.

The Art Director is responsible for setting the visual direction for all Zynga website and game properties, managing a staff of internal and external artists and overseeing the art production schedule.
Responsibilities
• Drive the creative vision for the look and feel of all Zynga website and game properties
• Establish and manage Zynga’s visual creative process
• Establish, communicate and manage department objectives to meet project schedules
• Encourage the creative development and contribution of each staff member
• Provide leadership and act as an advisor to help resolve complex design challenges
• Source and manage external contract resources to supplement internal art resources
• Set up and oversee production pipelines (both large and small)
• Work independently on major design initiatives
