Community Manager
Description
Will assist in the strategy, planning and execution of social media efforts for a new sports card MMOG as well as other sports and entertainment online efforts. Performs a variety of community building and social media functions on internal and external websites.
• Creates and evolves a community vision and strategy including features, content and moderation. Is the voice of the community on internal websites, with the majority of time spent on the sports MMOG
• Supports the online communities. Engages in conversations with community members in areas like editorial content, newsletters, forums, website, blogs, etc.
• Is responsible for moderating kids messages in forums, blogs and other forms of communication
• Is responsible for developing a plan and being a voice of the Upper Deck MMOG on external sites. Participates in chat rooms, forums, and consumer blogs. Tracks and cultivates bloggers and community leaders
• Maintains current knowledge of the latest virtual world and community market trends
• Assists the Marketing Director and Vice President with the execution of overall online marketing plan for sports card MMOG
