POSITION SUMMARY

Oversee the design and implementation of the Story Unit pipeline, tools and processes, and the connectivity between the disciplines of the Story Unit.


RESPONSIBILITIES

TECHNICAL
• Oversee the design and implementation of pipeline, tools and processes for the Story Unit, namely:
o Audio
o Storyboard, 2½D
o Sacrificial Motion Capture and Motion Capture
o Previs/Lensing
o Editorial
• Oversee the design and implementation of connectivity between the Story Unit disciplines
• Continually assess the Story Unit pipeline and process to look for ways to improve and streamline
• Liase with broader production, Digital Supervision and R&D in regards to pipeline, production workflow and technical issues that affect the Story Unit.
• Liase with other Supervisors on technical aspects of the overall production pipeline

CREATIVE
• Continually assess the development of the Story and look for ways to improve, streamline and enhance production methodology as it relates to the developing details of the project.
• Oversee specific film sequences or production issues in order to troubleshoot and improve methodology in Story Unit.

OPERATIONAL
• Delegate the execution of scripting, coding and process implementation.
• Liase with Production Management in regards to scheduling implementation of pipeline, tools and processes.
• Liase with Production Management in regards to Story Unit pipeline, tool and process developments that affect production budgets and schedules.

This role reports to:
• Technical- Digital Supervisor (Primary Reporting)
• Creative- Story Unit Supervisor
• Operational- Story Unit Producer
