Lead Programmer

Description

TRI is looking for an experienced Programmer who has proven management experience.

• Leads, directs and provides day to day supervision to a programming team assigned to game development project.
• Develops programming schedules. Assigns programming modules and tasks to the team.
• Position has a high level of interaction with all members of a project team. Works with managers to evaluate and make feature, s
• Creates programming design, working from specification, according to game design.
• Coordinates technical development with other aspects of product development to include but not limited to music, text, art and animations, audio recordings and sound effects.
• In conjunction with Producer, recognizes milestones, schedules resources, and drives team toward timely milestone completion for project in accordance with anticipated product release date.
• Oversees the bug fixing process, assuring efficient and quality product end result.
• Participates in new hire interviews, and makes recommendations to the Producer for employment and promotions.
• Identifies technical or development risks and obstacles when they become apparent and works with Producer to generate solutions to these problems.
• Provides comprehensive development, writing, testing and debugging of software that meets the agreed upon objectives, standards and deadlines.
• Provides and maintains proper documentation related to source code, and other documentation as required.
