Sr. Art Director

Description

The Senior Art Director will provide creative leadership for all assigned creative projects within the marketing department, from concept to completion. The Senior Art Director will manage a wide variety of projects including advertising, multiple types of design collateral, media kits, magazine supplements, print and electronic media and project assets. The Senior Art Director will be instrumental in the development and maintenance of the lynda.com design style guide. The overall brand and design direction/decisions will be achieved through close marketing team collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Knowledge of color correction and press production techniques
· Track record of managing multiple projects in a fast paced environment while maintaining a strong attention for detail
· Exceptional knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other creative development software tools
· Possess strong graphic experience, excellent sense of typography
· Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget
· Print production experience required including color correction, print proof review and onsite press checks as necessary
· Ability to optimize designs for use in print and electronic media
· Manipulate digital photography including photo composition, color correction and visual design treatments
· Responsible for quality of final production art files, and maintenance of accurate proofs and collateral files in archive system
· Video, flash and/or 3D skills are a plus
