opening in Los Angeles! We have
opportunities at our studio for an experienced and talented Manager of Global
Business Development with a background in television and/or feature film VFX to
join our creative team.
The Manager of Global
Business Development plays a critical role in managing Business Development
efforts, data, and personnel. The ideal
candidate should have knowledge and direct experience working in VFX production,
or relevant experience managing a sales team in a service industry, preferably
in media and entertainment. Must possess knowledge of CRM platforms. This is a highly visible
role who can effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the
organization. They are comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven
environment with the ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of
situations. This individual has strong
written and verbal communication, administrative and organization skills, and
the ability to maintain a seamless workflow while balancing multiple
priorities. Position reports to the CEO.

Responsibilities include:

Create a cohesive internal process and
structure of Global Business Development Activities
·
Gate keeper and organizer
for all business development and sales related activities
·
Coordinates daily
priorities of the business development and sales team and independently tackles
issues when necessary
·
Ensures action items emerge
from email correspondence and meetings
·
Reports to Board of
Directors on status of Business Development efforts
o Generate weekly, quarterly, and high-level annual reports on all FuseFX
Business Development
o Help develop Business Development reports via Domo for on-going reporting
·
Partner with Global
Production Management to strategize on project acquisition to fill specific
gaps in work based on geographic need
·
Initiate communication between FuseFX
Production staff and new projects, ensuring clients receive a rapid and
thorough introduction to key FuseFX show personnel
·
Ensure internal kickoff meetings take
place, and Fuse’s team is properly briefed on project requirements and client
expectations
•
Responsible for internal CRM,
management, and updates
o Continue to make recommendations and improvements regarding the CRM,
optimizing tools and creating transparency for our sales team
o Develop strategy for ongoing review of CRM projects and follow-ups with
Business Development Team
o Personally oversee data set for accuracy and action items
o Drive and manage group input to CRM from various personnel
o Confirm that active shows contain accurate client data
o Regular follow-up meetings with Business Development team regarding CRM
entries

Maintain a list of high priority
projects for particular focus based on timing, cache, and scope
•
Work with transition team to ensure
follow-through on all potential projects
•
Regular review of list of key
relationships with reminders to Fuse personnel to build partnerships and
broaden our market presence
•
Responsible for the creation of
external facing presentation documents ensuring consistency in messaging and
cadence, this may include:
o
Deck to introduce FuseFX
o
Pitch deck templates
o
Bidding packages
•
Oversee all client engagement,
gifts and other client entertainment

Assist with FuseFX engagement with industry events
·
Conducts research on
specialized projects
·
Research emerging markets and track and
report industry trends
·
Demonstrates ability to
define, lead, and own project work
·
Learns and understands the
workings of the company on a broad level to assist the business development and
sales department in all related activities
Requirements
·
Must have minimum 4 years experience working
in managing business development processes, or related experience in the visual
effects or entertainment field
·
Bachelor’s degree preferred
·
Intelligence and good communication skills a
must
·
Has a can-do attitude and can work with many
different personality types effectively
·
Sound judgement to handle sensitive
information with tact and professional integrity
·
Must be able to perform work with a high level
of accuracy, detail-oriented, ability to handle multiple priorities, and be a
self-starter
·
Demonstrated high level technical problem
solving and proficiency with software and systems (Filemaker, CRM, Calendars,
email, Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Power Point, Libra Office, etc.)
·
Can effectively evaluate and communicate
priorities, knowing at what level to involve Executive Management
