Front-End Web Developer

FuseFX has an opening in Los Angeles! We have an opportunity at our studio for an experienced and talented Front-End Web Developer. FuseFX develops internal production tracking and business ERP software called Nucleus (https://fusefx.com/nucleus/). We are looking for strong candidates that would be excited about joining our team and helping us take our software to the next level!
FuseFX is an Emmy award-winning visual effects and animation studio focused on producing photo-real digital effects for feature film, episodic television and commercials
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain the next generation of highly scalable VFX production management software.
- Contribute to UI/UX planning and discussions.
- Implement flexible solutions for state management and single page routing.
- Build out a powerful set of reusable components.
- Coordinate and collaborate with a team of backend and full stack developers.
- Troubleshoot and provide professional application support.
- Work with supervisors and users to help define new features.
- Research and prototype new technologies, techniques and best practices.
Required:
- Experience developing highly scalable and responsive web applications with React
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- Good sense of UI functionality and aesthetics
- Familiarity with various Design Systems
- Experience making API requests
- Strong communications skills
Optional:
- Experience with HTML5 media (video playback / scrubbing)
- Familiarity with AG-Grid
- Experience working with relational data structures (MySQL) through an API
- Understanding of Visual Effects processes and pipeline
- Experience with any of the following: Electron, Python, FileMaker Pro, and MySQL
- Applications Security knowledge
