RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Connect with prospective clients in efforts to bring in new business.

• Produce sales/pitchvis material to assist with obtaining client awards.

• Create and communicate VFX bids/breakdowns based on client supplied documents - scripts, QuickTime edits, .pdf/Excel breakdowns, etc.

• Maintain and communicate VFX budgets throughout the course of the project; including change orders, and full client accounting VFX reconciliation upon show end.

• Facilitate and manage (with clients as well as internally) with bringing new projects online - Turnover requirements, show specifications (resolution, color space, etc.), delivery requirements (both DPX and QuickTimes), etc.

• Maintain and communicate project delivery dates (screenings, temps, finals, etc.) with client and with the internal Mavericks VFX team

• Work with the VFX Coordinators to create internal project milestones for all departments, to assure that the client delivery dates are met, and that these milestones are communicate with all artists.

• Oversee that the client's notes and needs are being met, and are being properly communicated in dailies and to the artists.

• Supply the client with weekly project status reports to keep them informed on the status of all shots, as well as the client delivery dates.

• Manage and assign the VFX Coordinators to all projects.

• Assist with outlining, establishing, and maintaining production workflows to help assure productivity and effectiveness of all departments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Highly organized with excellent scheduling and task management skills.

• Minimum 5 years of experience within the VFX or Film production industry.

• Conversant with visual effects terminologies and processes.

• Ability to liaise and collaborate with clients, artists and producers.

• Working experience with Shotgun (project software)

• Strong knowledge of MS Office package (including word, excel)

• Must have the ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines

• Strong communication skills critical

• Candidate must be able to work within a team environment

• Should be legally allowed to work in Canada.
