Concept Design/Digital Generalist Artist

Description

“South Park” is looking for a Concept Design/Digital Generalist Artist preferably with 1-2 years experience.  The position begins in October & lasts for 4 months with an option for additional services.  Only candidates living in the Los Angeles area will be considered.  All interested applicants should e-mail a resume, link to reel/portfolio, & story examples ASA to spreels@lacasabonita.com.  Please type “Concept/Generalist Artist” in the subject line.  

Primary Skills:  Very strong portfolio showing concept art, character designs, & background design.  Strong in storyboarding skills, production storyboards, & beat boards.  Should have experience in feature films & versatility of styles (live action & animation).  Experience producing animatics is a plus.  Demonstrates good speed & quick turnaround.

Secondary Skills:  Pre-visualization/digital skills a plus.

Software proficiency:  Storyboard Pro, Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, & Indesign), Maya, & ZBrush skills a plus.

Qualities:  Team player.  Easy to work with & ready to switch gears quickly.  Self-motivated & versatile.
