Position: Render Technical Support / Render Wrangler

Description: 

The candidate will be part of a team providing providing 24x7 support of the studio's rendering efforts in completing our current production, a feature length film, as well as future productions.  The primary responsibilities will be monitoring the render farm and ensuring high throughput.  This will involve diagnosing and resolving rendering errors, managing priorities and pro-actively resolving issues.

Qualifications:

-ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision

-good working knowledge of linux

-desire to pursue a career in the computer animation industry.

Familiarity with the following is a plus:

-Maya, Nuke, 3Delight/renderman/other renderers

-Qube/Deadline/Alfred/Tractor/other render farm management software

-python/bash/tcsh/other scripting languages

-computer animation production pipelines

Annual Salary: $35,000 to $45,000 - Based on experience
