CoSA VFX is looking for a Los Angeles-based DIGITAL MATTE ARTISTS to work on high profile television shows and feature films. Candidates should possess a minimum of 4 years experience working as a matte painter in episodic TV and/or motion pictures.

Our company is a fast-paced and highly collaborative production environment. Recent projects include Minority Report, Gotham, Person of Interest and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must be based in Los Angeles, and available for in-person interview at our office in North Hollywood.

* A minimum of 4 years experience working as a matte painter in episodic TV and/or motion pictures.

* Ability to create photo-real environments, set-extensions and backgrounds. Enhance or alter lighting, perspective and color as needed for integration and mood.

* Strong interest in working collaboratively in a team of creative generalists.

* Expert and up-to-date knowledge of Photoshop.

* Knowledge of 3D software (e.g. Maya, 3DS Max, Modo) and proficiency with compositing tools a big plus.

* Ability to implement fast, effective solutions to shot production challenges using off-the-shelf tools.
