Tangentlemen are looking for an Sr. Environment Artist. Do you want to work on an project that you actually care about? Do you have an artist’s eye for composition and detail? You must thrive in a micro-team environment where each member holds a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
Responsibilities:
Utilize cutting-edge techniques and software to create all aspect of a 3D game environment
Design, model, texture, and light high fidelity immersive worlds
Ensure gameplay functionality and engine efficiency
Work closely with Art Director to meet and maintain visual goals
Multitask effectively, prioritize competing demands, and follow through on details
Requirements:
A portfolio that demonstrates the range of your abilities and the quality of your art
One or more shipped products, especially Console products.
Model, texture, and optimize props and assets for Unreal 4
Proficient in Maya
Work within a team as a creative and professional contributor without drama or ego
Willingness to learn and discover new techniques and software
Minimum of 3 years game industry experience with at least 2 or more shipped titles
Self starter, self manager
Pluses:
Photogrammetry/Scan Data experience as well as from-scratch realistic assets
Experience with PBR asset pipeline
Zbrush, Allegorithmic Painter/Designer, Sketchup Photomatch
Traditional art background or experience
- Strong Composition skills and an understanding of Color Theory
